This sounds like a Sho~Bud Dual Channel amp, better known as the "Christmas Tree," because of it's colorful back-lit panel.

These amps sound really great, even though they were cheaply assembled, and are quite sought after today. I've seen them selling for as much as $600 in excellent condition.

Thanks Herb,
I think you are right, by his description I thought it was a christmas tree.
I owned one in the 70's and it sounded great. One night at a club in Tucson it started smoking and never lived to tell about it.

Personally, I'm very happy that David didn't keep one, they've both been rebuilt and they have Altec speakers in them. You want the country sound from transisters, these amps have it.

I agree, it sounds like a duel channel Christmas Tree model. With a good JBL speaker they sound excellent, but may lack a bit of power for large-room venues. I still own two of the single channel models and use them often.

Hey Chas, did you keep either of the JBL's that came out of those amps? I think the K-130 was a 4 ohm. I sure could use that for my Twin. If you'd be willing to sell or trade it back to me, please let me know.

Thanks
David

David, the D-130F is in a Standel cab and the K-130 found a home with a guitar player I work with, I'm sorry, I wish I had known that you wanted it.
