PV Tube Sweetener

Post by Dennis Detweiler »

Anyone ever tried one of these? There's not much info on it in the PV catalog.
Does it actually have tubes? Does it produce that warm tube sound? Is it rack size?
Thanks

Dennis. The Peavey Tube Sweetener uses an all tube audio path. Try this link for more info on this. http://www.peavey.com/amr/tubesweetener.html

You might also want to check out the Peavey VMP-2. I'll be doing some experimenting with both if these units in the near future, and I'll let you know the results I get with them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Danny. The price of the Tube Warmer seems resonable if it delivers the traditional warm tube sound into a steel amp.
Let me know the results of your comparisons.
