Question on Nashville 400

Post by Earl Yarbro »

I started to pick up my 400 with a 2 wheeler and it was not all the way under. It tipped over and hit pretty hard on its face. It is working but ocassionally takes a spell of skips. Does this sound like something I could fix myself, or should I take it in to a specialist?
Would appreciate any of your tech advice, from

I suggest taking the chassis out and sending
it to Peavey for repairs.
Contact Mike Brown on this forum for
shipping instructions.

Hey Rick,
I'm sorry to hear of your unfortunate accident. The first thing that came to mind when I read this was broken pots, but it hard to determine without bench testing it.

You can send the chassis only to us if there are no speaker problems. You may want to include the reverb pan and wiring harness just in case. Return it prepaid to;
Peavey Service Center
Attention; Repair Department
Hwy. 80 East
Meridian, Mississippi 39301

Please include a note of symptoms and a daytime phone number. If you wish to use a credit card for the repair and return freight charges, ask that we call you for a phone number.

Or, you may reach me toll free here at Peavey by phoning 1-877-732-8391. We'll be glad to assist you.
