Opinions on Processors Needed!
A good friend of mine had his guitar effects stolen and is looking to replace them. He thinks a processor is a place to take piggies! Farm boy!
So...we need opinions on effects processors for lead guitar. What is your recommendation for a price range of $150 to $200 after discount? Is Digitech any good? Digitech 100 or 200 models? Other brands?
The rural rolly-polly lead player needs to know.
Thanks
Dennis

what kind of music does he play? that might be a consideration when making a decision on a effects unit.I use a digitec RP-5 for my stage rig,I like the digital reverb and chourus pretty well but the overdrive and distortion is a little brittle and sterile for my taste. I think I paid $250.00 for it in 94 and I'm still using it. For something thats gets stomped on a lot and subjected to west Texas dust, sweat, dance floor wax, spilt drinks ect. it's really a wonder it keeps on going.....there alot of effects out there now days and I'm sure they have improved since I bought mine,I might suggest he try out as many as he can and let the ears be the judge....just my thoughts
