User Manual?? - Boss RV-2

Post by John Hanusch »

Here I come beggin' again. Just got one of these & would like a copy of the User's Manual/Instructions that originallly came with unit. (No luck with searches). Also, anyone's input on suggested settings. Am wanting the Fender reverb sound, running into a '65 Bandmaster head. And, I'm still looking for a SilverFace Reverb Bandmaster. Thank you.

I went to the Roland site. It has essentially nothing on the RV-2. You can contact them however and ask for a manual. I suspect it really didn't have a manual, but had a little trifold sheet with basic directions. I don't think you will get a very good analog Fenderish type sound with this unit. It is the first digital reverb pedal ever made.

The RV-2 was supposed to be the holy grail of reverb pedals and was noted to be a better sounding reverb than the RV-3.

I have an RV-2 that is noisy and I would like to get it repaired.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. JW, I've sent you an email. Len, you might have a local amp tech or such just check it for common things like a bad joint, cracked board, etc. Also, check that Roland website, seems like I saw something about service there, but may cost more than just getting another. I got my from EBay. Yea, I know, not quite like the Fender sound. That's why I keep looking for a Reverb Bandmaster. I've a super clean '65 Bandmaster (80 watt) to trade.
