Session 500 ?
When I try to use the headphone facility on the Session 500, sound is still coming out of the speaker. Can I disconnect the speaker and run the amp just with the headphones, or will this cause damage?

There is a simpler way to use the amp in this fashion. Take a shorted 1/4" instrument plug and insert it into the POWER AMP INPUT jack on the back panel. This will shut off the speaker and the headphone output will still work.

Thanks, B.Cole & Mike.
Why does it have to be a shorted 1/4 jack? I just plugged in a cable into the 'power amp in' and it cut the sound as I'd hoped. I then took a cable from the 'pre amp out' socket into my recorder. I,m doing this to try to improve my sound on tape. I also did it with my Vegas to compare it with the Session 500 on tape. How long is it safe to run amps this way?
Thanks, Richard.
