I would pull the chassis and send it to Peavey. Their service department is top notch and their prices are better than any I ever got locally.

Les, you have an internal connection problem.
I recommend that you check our dealer locator function at www.peavey.com and have them repair the amp for you. This is not a symptom that will heal itself.

Or, contact me here at the factory and I'll be glad to direct you to the nearest authorized repair station. I can be reached at 1-877-732-8391 Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM. I'll be glad to assist you.
