Anyone used the quadaverb for effects?
I am using stomp boxes for chorus, delay, overdrive..i bought a quadaverb some years ago to use primarily w/a synth...am now only using it for the vocals thru a mixer...mainly reverb...has anybody used this for steel and what recommendations might you have for it's use?
Thanks
Thanks

Craig, the Quadraverb is a studio quality unit. I used one for quite some time. Doug Jernigan has used one for years. The big problem I had was adjusting everything. For example, I worked out a program that sounded good at home. I went to a big stage show, and the sound man told me it sounded bad. It takes time to program a Quadraverb, unless you get really good at it. That is the main reason I went to the Peavey ProFex II and the TranstubeFex. They have programs that are already built. If a program does not sound good in a particular building, you can push one button and change from complete program to complete program. I suppose it boils down to figuring out how to run the Quadraverb.

I used one for many years with combo amps and in rack setups. I had about a dozen patch settings which I tweeked and also used one of those Alesis hand held MIDI controllers to select which patch I wanted.
I recently went to a Roland GP100 and have sense sold the Quadraverb. A nice piece of gear IMHO.
