Johnny Bush!!!!!!!!

Post by jlsmith48 »

I just heard LOST HIGHWAY SALOON. Great album, with several steel players. If you want a real treat, go get this album. Classic Bush and great sound. I just left my steel in the alley for the garbage collector. I'm jealous and embarresed that I can't play like that.

Did you leave the case out their with it? I think I can "just" make it up there and back in time for work in the morning. So if you hear noises in the alleyway around midnight, don't shoot, OK? It's only me. Image

I've got some Emmons/Darrel McCall (steel with vocal accompanyment Image). All classic Emmons and all traditional country!

I guess I asked for it, but what I really wanted was a response to the album, not where you bums could get a free guitar, BTW, my wife has already gone out and brought it back in the house. She says I still owe her for it.

Thanks for the tip on the CD, I will be sure to pick up a copy of it. (Too bad I didnt know about the steel, being 20 miles away from you I could have gotten that steel before you changed your mind !) Come to Ponca and pick with me sometime.

I rate this album higher then it's parter which is a Bob Wills tribute that was reissued. It was a thrill finaly meeting Johnny and seeing him onstage at the Houston
Internationel festival.
My interesting tidbit is the duet partner for I'll Never be free was backstage asking
what key a song was in. I asked if it was from the last album and told her it was in C.
