Heather Myles

Does anyone know if Heather Myles still performs? I have her "Just Like Old Times" CD and the vocals are awesome. Also some great guitar from Buddy Miller and tasteful pedal steel from Greg Leisz. Her latest CD on Amazon.com is from 1998. Does anyone know if she's done anything recently?

I think she's in the studio working on her next CD.
BTW...
I wrote the bridge on "Just Like Old Times".

I saw Heather Myles fronting for Merle Haggard in Portland, OR, a few years ago. She was great! Hope she puts out another CD soon.

Yes...Heather's in the process of recording a new album as we speak. Producer Michael Dumas is using Dwight's rhythm section and the great Gary Morse on most steel tracks. What I've heard of the early mixes so far sounds great!... Really country with a couple suprizes. I guess I'm going to take a wack at one track on "Cry me a river" in the next week or two. Wish me luck.
Heather's voice is something really special!

Rick

p.s. Alan....I was on that Portland show. It was really a great memory for me!

Rick, thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to the CD. In my opinion, Heather has one of the finest voices I've ever heard. Good luck on your cut!
