Dear Friends and Colleagues - I will be in a short trip with my wife in San Diego next week. Does anybody have any country and/or steel gigs they can recommend or venues? Anybody that I should go see? Or any particular clubs that I shouldn't miss? The forum is a source of wisdom and creativity ! Thank you in advance for any suggestions. Looking for steel guitar players in particular or country in general. Or musicians' hangouts where everybody in the audience knows how to play six string guitar !

A great hang but call first. You can take the Amtrak Surfliner or the local commuter rail Coaster north to Oceanside from San Diego, too.
