Daisy Chain Setup Issues

Post by Jerry Berger »

Hi All,
I want to set up my Sarno Black Box along with my Goodrich volume pedal, Boss DD-3 delay pedal, and my Neunaber Wet reverb pedal. What are the steps that I have to take to correctly complete this set up? Thanks

Guitar to black box to volume pedal to delay to reverb to amp. However, does your amp have an effects loop and volume pedal in/out? Otherwise, the chain I mention will work for a simple effective setup.

Most common setup is Gtr>BB>VP>DD3>REV

Some players put the Black Box after the volume pedal and follow the above chain after that. I always put the buffer first in line as Dennis states.

I've had my setup of a Sarno Black box, a Boss RV-6 digital reverb and a Boss DD-500 digital delay just as Dennis suggested, but in reading over my Telonics volume pedal manual, I was confused to read that they don't want anything between the guitar, the volume pedal, then the amp. They request that everything else be daisey chained together as an effects loop on the amp itself. What do you kind gents think about the Telonics requirement? Thanks in advance, Gardner
