Gibson EH = "Electric Hawaiian"?
I just learned that Gibson ES (e.g. ES-175) stands for "Electric Spanish" guitar.
So I'm assuming the Gibson EH (e.g EH-185) stands for "Electric Hawaiian"?
I might be the last one here to have this epiphany (that is, if my epiphany is correct).

Re: electric banjo
In a serendipitous moment a couple of years ago, I found myself in the house of a couple that had an electric 5 string. It had been in a closet for years but I was able to tune it up. He didn't have an all, but I did get to play around on it for a few minutes.Joseph Lazo wrote:I never knew there was an electric banjo like that! Cool, in a weird way.
