I thought that folks might like to check out Piers Crocker's "Hawaiian Slant" group who played the 2nd set at last Sunday's "The 3rd Steel and Slide Guitar Night" in Sydney. Piers' premise is that it's actually "1934". Quite a show. The two young fellows (both in their mid twenties) are Piers' son Ed on guitar & Ed's mate Jordan on tricone. Piers, a brilliant steel guitarist, has stepped back to foster Jordan's amazing playing. This is a revival series of nights that I organised for a decade from the nineties into the early 2000s:
