I do have the H4n and the H2 which is a little easier to use but the H4 has the capability of 4 tracks simultaniesly and they both sound incredible.
The Small built in mics have unbelievable range, you won't be sorry with either one. :)

Bent, I really got a kick outta that "sounds like crap" comment on your Pico clip. If that's what crap sounds like, I wanna sound like crap...lol

Thanks for the nice compliment, Rick. I know who this person is. Some people get stuck at age 10 I guess...

Thanks so much Todd. To give credit to the player once more: Played by Dale Rivard, from near Chatham, Ont.
Dale is as pro as they get. He is also a heck of a nice person.

The software to edit appears to be Cubase in the pack , Is that a sales pitch or do you have to buy editing software for your computer ?

Craig, I believe some editing capabilities are in the Zoom. I bought this unit from a forum member and Cubase LE was included.

All I have used so far is just the instant recording feature(Turn it on, hit record and that's it)And this is what you hear on the sound clip. No editing.
Good luck with your purchase!
