Why do i get this window come up?

Post by Jimmy Gibson »

It seems every time i use Ebay and other web pages i get this pop up box come up it reads

AN UNHANDED EXCEPTION OCCURED IN THE 3rd PARTY MODUAL
AND WILL BE CLOSED

.If i save it,it comes up as a DMP FILE along with this 64CEC5A5-12AO-4B08-9,and i delete it,but the next time i go on Ebay and open up an item up it comes again.

How do i get rid of it?it is driving me nuts. :x

Any help would be great,thanks.

Jimmy.

Does this file have a name? Do you get a Save/Open box containing the file? Tell us the prefix before .zip.

First off, clear your browser's cache completely, deleting all Temporary Internet Files. Close and re-open the browser. Go to a safe website, like www.cnn.com, or www.foxnews.com and see if this zipfile dialog re-appears.

What anti-malware programs(s) are you running? Are they fully up to date? When did this start?

If you're using IE, for some reason, it could be a problem with one of the installed toolbars. Try turning them off or disabling them if you can.

If the previous doesn't work for you, and you are using IE, you can try a reset of the browser: Go to Control Panel, Internet Options - click the advanced tab, then choose "restore advanced settings" and then choose "reset". Un-check the box when prompted and then click apply.
