Robert, my nest door neighbor

Post by Mike Perlowin RIP »

Robert wasn't a musician, he was just a regular guy with a wife and 3 kids. He died a few days ago from cancer, he was just 54 years old.

Who among us hasn't lost a friend or loved one to this terrible disease? Who among us is not concerned that we ourselves may get it?

My hopes and prayers go put to the research scientists who are trying to find a cure. Let us all hope and pray that they succeed, and soon.

Mike, I'm sorry to hear this about your friend, I can relate, I lost my Mom to Cancer two years ago. Cancer doesn't care how old or young you are.I also have another good friend who is fighting it right now.

I lost my sister when she was about the same age. June's dad was also a victim of the bastard. We contribute to CRUK, but I think if governments rethought their, i.e. our priorities, much more would be spent on finding a cure.

No politics intended.
