Tommy Hildebrand West Texas Drummer/Singer

Post by Fred Shannon »

i have a sad heart tonight. I was notified at 6 pm that life support had been removed from Tommy Hildebrand who had been in hospice care for the last 2 weeks or so. At 10:15 a relative called and informed me that Tommy had just passed on to a better life.

He was a tremendous team band member and one of my very best friends. He suffered a malady called cancer brought on by one of the most deadliest of killers---AGENT ORANGE contracted in Viet Nam. I've seen hundreds of my friends who've died from the effects of this chemical and I suffer from it myself. Another benefit laid on the US military by our wonderful congress people.

Rest easy Tommy, and your family will be taken care ofr by those of us who remain and love you. RIP

Think about it!!

Phred, I have a few friends who have had problems from AO and the latest I've heard about is my friend Walt Peters whom I used to work with back in Hawaii. It is a terrible thing that we even used this stuff against our enemy, might less having our troops exposed to it.
