CHARLEY RUDOLPH passes 'The First Shuffle Artist'

We lost a dear friend CHARLEY RUDOLPH (alias Rudi Roelaarts) he was (one of) Europe's First Western Swing and Shuffle Vocalist and songwriter Saturday July 9. He was from Indonesia/ The Netherlands (our hometown Groningen) where he started out in the New Beat Band as a singer/guitarplayer .After the Rock period he felt in love for the music of Ray Price - Darrell McCall - Johnny Bush and all the TeXas Friends ao; Bobby Flores - Jake Hooker enz.,,,,,,above all he loved the steelguitar !! Buddy Emmons was his first choise.
