Fell out of love with Audacity

Post by Greg Wisecup »

Are there any other free user friendly software programs such as Audacity. I want the ability to do everything that Audacity does. Thanks, Greg

If the PC sound and recording devices are not set correctly, no recording program will work.

Greg,

I used to use a similar system from DAK, that wasn't free, but very cheap. It had some features that audacity didn't have, and some were pretty cool. You can check it out at

Greg, Jack has hit the most important point, it sounds as though the vista unit just needs the proper settings. Unless the software has become corrupted, or was not imstalled properly, or maybe the version you have does not work with Vista, lots to consider.
