I'm planning to go to SouthxSouthwest in March. Is anybody playing there or in Austin during that time? I would like to catch some steel.
Also any recommendations of good steel clubs and Good Brisket Bar-B-Q.

One non-sanctioned SXSW event which has become a must-see is the now-huge concert in the parking lot of the Texicalli Grille on Saturday morning-afternoon, called South by South Austin.
The concert is hosted by the Cornell Hurd Band, and we've had incredible lineups of guest artists perform like Johnny Gimble, Johnny Bush, Clay Blaker with Tommy Detamore, Doug Sahm, legendary bassist Bob Moore, the Hollisters, Ruthie and the Wranglers, etc.
