The Don Rich Anthology CD on Sundazed (pictured above)is a "recent" collection of sides both instrumental and vocal culled from Buckaroos Band albums and some Buck &Buckaroos recordings. It features Don's FIddle, Guitar and Singing/songwriting as well as Tom Brumley on many cuts. It is great from start to finish.
The man was awesome.
He sang everything Buck did, but a third or more higher while playing fills and lead...
The man was awesome.
There's and old saying about Ginger Rogers that she did everything Fred Astaire did but backwards and in High Heels... that's kinda how I think of Don (but in a good way!)I'm kinda surprised Buck let him sing solo...IMO he's better than Buck!
