Who can fix my profex 11 in or around Oklahoma? I know the factory can but they keep them so long.

I would recommend the factory! They are the best qualified. I repair a lot of amps, replace batteries in Profexes and Tubefexes. When I got a bad Tubefex, it went to Peavey. The work was excellent and reasonable. Mine had a bad DSP processor, it took Max a the factory to figure it out! They did a great job and very reasonable. Even in an area as big as I live in (Portland, Oregon area) I can safely say there's not a tech around here I would trust with a piece of microprocessor based Peavey gear. A good job is worth the wait. Just my 2 cents worth!
I am curious, what kind of a problem are you having? Perhaps the unit may not need more than a reinitialization and possibly a new memory battery.

Hello Jim,
If you will provide me with a UPS or FedEx tracking number after you send the unit to the factory, I will do my best to have it repaired as quickly as possible. Around July and the Christmas holiday season we get really busy as employees(technicians)take their vacations but the 35 plus years of products continue to be sent in for repair.

We do have the #1 ranked service center among the musical instrument manufacturers and we view the Peavey service center as a "service" and not where the majority of the income for our company is made.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me here at the factory. Our toll free number in the U.S. is 1-877-732-8391.

Thanks,
Mike Brown

I had forgotten about reinitialising. My problem is there is no input signal. The processor still works but the input does nothing. No sound and the led does nothing. I will get into the instruction book and relearn how to reinitialise.
Thanks, and if that doesn't work I'll call Mike.

Just my two cents but I'd strongly recommend you send it to Mike Brown at Peavey in Meridan, Ms.
Mike is very conscientous about repairs especially in regards to steel players and also in a very timely manner..
