Trace Elliot Velocette for Practice?

Has anybody tried one of these for practice with a steel guitar? I have a NOS one on the way. I plan to use it for tele, but was wondering about also using it for my Gibson D8 Console.

Cool amp! I had one for awhile, never tried it with a steel though. Should work ok at low volumes. The Celestion Vintage 30 speaker should be able to handle anything you throw at it.
