feedback on Alesis Midiverb4

I was wondering, does anyone uses this processor? I rarely hear mention of it on
the forum and was curious as to why.
I understand Rusty Young uses one.
How does it compare to the Profex 11?
Any comments welcome,

I used to use it for homerecording purposes (to add reverb to the vocals and stuff) and I found it to sound... boring. I can't really describe it, but I just was not excited. Like, if your a keyborder and somebody gives you a Korg M1 as a present. It sounds so over-used; it is heard on 90% of songs that were recorded in the late 80s.
I never tried it with a PSG though, but I thik there a better fx out there... ever tried a lexicon?

Depends on the money you want to spend. The MPX 100 list for app. 240 $ (in Germany) and sports a digital out. The MPX 500 costs app. 500 $ and is one of the best fx I've heard in this price range. The studio models do cost A LOT more money, but if you've got the chance, check out the MPX 500. You won't be disappointed.
